If we were given the chance to expand on the idea and continue with the project this is how we would do it...
The origami man begins as sheet of paper and suddenly folds to life; he wonders through the world interacting with other sheets of papers and creating other models like origami dragons, birds and boomerangs.
He goes through the world not satisfied with the things he has created and feels lonely without a friend. Eventually, after all his efforts he manages to create himself a female companion.
As a group this was discussed and decided as fitting way to improve and build on the idea and create a interesting and unique graphical narrative.

Reflection & Notes
Hit with problem after problem, the project didn't seem to be getting anywhere - but after much effort and perseverance we managed to create an animation. Not an animation rich in narrative or special effects but a decent level of skill and understanding.
Not too bad considering we suffered issues with:
Lighting - Always changing, environmental influences
Camera - Focusing, Exposure, White Balance
Theft - Origami man was stolen!
And on the last day, corrupt data resulting in footage lose.

What I'm doing today.
Working on creating some stencils for our backgrounds and creating some props, such as clouds, hills or grass. Will try to use the airbrush to get the backgrounds we need complete (need the storyboard to check on these first)
---
Rest of team will be completing test animations and starting set construction.

Background, check!
Got a chance to use the air brush today to produce the backgrounds for our animation. The original idea was to use white ink on a black background, however this didn't show up very well at all, so we used black ink on a white background, to give off the effects of different shades of grey.
We also discussed different ways to animate our backgrounds, from using layers and props, using transitions with objects, and even doing just a straight cut to the next scene.
I'll update this post a little later with some pictures of the backgrounds.
